About us

Conservation Science and Complex Ecological Research Group has been created in January 2014 as a highly collaborative and multidisciplinary research group to address theoretical and applied questions in relation to ecological modelling and conservation biology. The Group is integrated at the University of Lleida (UdL) and is also involved in national and international collaborations.

Conservation Science and Complex Ecological Research Group addresses research lines related with the impact of the human activities, global change, human-wildlife conflicts, biological invasions and social development on ecological systems with the final aim of suggesting sound environmental, and regulatory policies for the conservation of the biodiversity. The multidisciplinary research group encompasses ecology, ecotoxicology, veterinary, geochemistry, genetics, mathematics and informatics to recognize the key factors that regulate the ecosystems processes.
